The Graham at Gracepoint is a 90 unit, 3 story housing development located in Tampa, FL. The building is part of the greater Gracepoint campus, which is a mental wellness facility. The project will serve two populations- the 45 units on the north wing will be senior housing, and the 45 units on the south wing will be housing for residents with mental disabilities that are functional adults, but need someone to keep a watch over them. As part of the scope of the project, the original Graham Home was demolished to make way for the new building. The Graham Home was founded many years ago by a philanthropist, Ms.Graham, to provide a place for people with mental disabilities to live comfortably, and this project continues that legacy. The building is constructed of concrete block and cast in place concrete with hollowcore planks used for the floor and roof systems. This all sits atop a post tensioned foundation/slab on grade system. Interior walls are to be constructed of metal stud framing. The 45 senior living units on the north wing are a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom units, all 45 south wing units are one bedroom units. The project will also hold a common area including a commercial kitchen which will prepare meals for the resident population, a fitness room, a library, laundry facilities, a small store, and clinic areas. Additionally, the south wing will hold the new administration offices for the Gracepoint facility. Outdoor amenities on the project include high-end landscaping, a bocce court, and planters for use by the residents for gardening.
