At WPC, we believe that giving back to our community is as important as building within it. We are committed to making a meaningful impact, especially for those who need it most. One project we hold close to our hearts is our support for OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability), an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with autism and other special needs in Central Florida.
This year, WPC is proud to sponsor OCA’s Monster Dash, an annual event that brings the community together for a fun-filled day benefiting those with special needs. Held on Saturday, October 19th at Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park, the event featured a 5K race, a Kids’ Fun Run, and a Family Stroll, inviting families, friends, and coworkers to break out their Halloween costumes and join the festivities.
At WPC, we believe that giving back is as essential as building. When we asked our partners to join us in improving the lives of children and adults with autism and other special needs in Central Florida—they didn’t hesitate. Together, we united our efforts, amplifying our impact and demonstrating the power of community.
These partners are not only industry leaders but also compassionate members of our community who share WPC’s vision of giving back. Their generosity ensures that OCA can continue to provide essential services to individuals with autism and other disabilities, helping them to lead fulfilling lives.
The “walk, run or roll” event took place on October 19th at 7:30 AM at Blue Jacket Park (2501 General Rees Avenue, Orlando 32814) and included a morning of costumes, camaraderie, and community spirit. Families, friends, and coworkers joined in the fun at OCA’s Fifth Annual Monster Dash, which featured three ghostly experiences: the 5K, Kids’ Fun Run, and Family Stroll. Thanks to everyone who came out to make this event a spooky success in support of people with autism and other disabilities!
At WPC, giving back is more than a mission; it’s who we are. We invite you to stand with us and our partners in supporting OCA and the life-changing work they do. Stay tuned for details on next year’s race – and donations are accepted all year.
